About Us

A part of the amateur radio presence in Hamilton County, Iowa, is a lightly organized group of ham radio operators.

We have a weekly net and also provide support for community events, like the Boone Bash River Dash.  Many of us are weather spotters for the weather service, which provides yearly training sessions at many locations around the state, including Hamilton County.

For the 2015 and 2016 we participated in ARRL’s Field Day, setting up in the West Twin Park shelter house in Webster City. Field Day is the last full weekend in June.
